      Legacy ACE '4 Star' / Post-Merger with Chubb '3 star'

      Pros

      Leadership, while tough and demanding, is very smart and business saavy. Focus is on underwriting first and sales second; have not received an excess of pressure to grow in a down market where competition is insane.

      Cons

      New org structure, post ACE/Chubb integration, is incredibly convoluted and confusing. The NACI / Major split creates an 'us vs them' vibe in the field with leadership on both sides of the house seeming to 'look out for their own' within the legacy companies. Does not feel as though we are one company.

      Pros

      European Zone IT team. A friendly, dynamic fast paced Company with a vast amount of exiting and new projects. Teams are friendly and helpful and really embarrassed the DEVOPS mentality.

      Cons

      All the things that made Chubb great, disappeared once the ACE Group merger completed. The incoming management within the European zone, seem to manage their teams with an iron fist rather than embarrassing open dialogue and trust. The teams are massively overworked and receive little in the way of recognition or appreciation. (Ratings are based on Chubb Experiences not ACE Group)
