Pros

- If you're lucky enough to be a part of a team that is in the e teams good graces, you have the chance to tackle some interesting problems. - Many smart engineers, though not all a pleasure to work with; a competitive culture is seemingly encouraged due to stack ranking

Cons

- Boys club - promotions are based off of who you know rather than what you do - Given the layoffs / reorgs, WLB has taken a massive hit to fill the gaps - Morale hit from various layoffs & reorgs still lingers, and doesn't seem to be getting any better. - Career progression outside of the boys club is nigh impossible, the best you can do is a lateral move if it's even possible. - Inconsistencies in criteria promotions across teams, even though roles are supposedly normalise across the company

Pros

Good Company Competitive Salary Free Lunch

Cons

Your Environment depends on your team (In some team you are happy while in some you might not be) Lot's of Re-Org Happened in the last year. Meaning some people were let go and there was a bit of downsizing. Teams and pillars were changed. There is no job security, at least it has been the case for me.
