Pros

Salary increase and bonus each year, shares and pension schemes. Easy access to Peterborough.

Cons

Caterpillar's' new CEO made a massive mistake reinstating 5 days a week - staff are more overstimulated, feel less valued/trusted, have less work/life balance that the company says they 'promise and value'. Even allowing Fridays WFH would have promoted a much healthier and happier work environment. The 5 day week is outdated. Peterborough offices feel outdated, cramped, overwhelming, artificial, with no natural light from windows or fresh air - not a healthy environment to work from 5 days per week. Limited opportunities for agency staff to become full-time.
