Pros

A good cultural organization which helps people who wants to evolve to go where they wants to. I have been able to go up the ladder but they ask a lot of you in return. which is quite fair

Cons

you need to like politics ( organizational politics ) otherwise you will not be able to survive long enough. beside that the culture itself is good.

Pros

Carrefour offers a very dynamic, international work environment at its headquarters. Lots of interesting people to work with. It trains employees 2-3 times a year in languages, computer work, management, leadership. There's a lot of room for initiative, and people are project-oriented. Decent pay 60k€ for managers/80-120k€ for directors, international work and teams at Headquarters, good benefits. Opportunities to work around the world.

Cons

The company strives to earn money at any and all costs. Leadership continues to push the original models of business, when they really need to question what they offer and how they do business. They operate out of fear, and are ruthless and destructive, rather than working respectfully, for the mutual benefit of all share-holders. Sustainable efforts concern 2-3% of the business.
