Company has excellent training. Company is friendly to family needs of employees. National so you can work almost anywhere. Company has fair benefits.
Cons
Company does not care about having competitive wages in comparison with the industry. Company does not appreciate it's employees up to and including it's top performers. They subscribe to the "your a dime a dozen" mentality. Company has lazy managers. Managers would rather sit behind a desk doing nothing instead of stepping out to help close a sale. Company micro manages employees to the point that they leave the company. Company gave 1 pay increase to sales consultants that I know of during many years of employment. Managers participate in favoritism with employees to the point that if you are not liked regardless of performance you will be "managed" out of the company. Managers including LGM's can be very incompetent with little or no experience in sales or other areas of the company. I would not recommend this company for employment except as a stepping stone to a real job where you get paid for what you are worth! This company overloads the sales floors to the point that only a select few sales consultants make a half way decent living. This companies sales floor is a revolving door hiring as many as 10 sales consultants at a time only to see at least that many leave within a few months once they see they cannot make enough money to survive with so many fighting for the limited numbers of traffic coming in to the stores. Don't expect to advance in this company at all PERIOD if you are not in the managers little "circle" regardless if you are a top performer or have management experience!
