Pros

It's a corporate job. If you get the job and look productive, no one will wonder if you're pulling your weight.

Cons

The Senior Leadership will throw you to the wolves and lie about it. We get accurate updates on how the business is doing from Quarterly earnings because all other updates are "we have a solid business model". They choose to lay off people to replace them with overseas contractor. That is not "putting people first" or "doing the right things" Promotions are based on who you know, not what you contribute.

Pros

Great Co-workers, Decent Benefits, Got to drive some cool cars.

Cons

At the store I was at, we were given too much to do despite being short staffed. Managers will not support and constantly write you up for the smallest stuff. Towards the end of my time at CarMax, management and the culture felt more like a cult.
