Pros

Ok for networking, decent name to have on CV

Cons

Terrible toxic management, have never experienced a workplace with the least suited managers for the roles. Outdated systems and processes, made to pull reports just because. Managers who have been there for 15+ years and do not want to change their processes or day-to-day. and LOW PAY

Pros

Great company where you can work your way up from interning to various roles. Culture was very open for sharing knowledge and skill. Management was open to cross training

Cons

CNN Plus shutdown costed a lot of good people their jobs. Favoritism I suppose just like anywhere else is at play for specific advanced training. Being such a large department of editors, it's easy to get lost in the mix, looked over, and just being someone that can fill the needs of a schedule, while asking to gain more experience and skills.
