Pros

- Salary is above average industry wise. - Brand is okay since it’s ‘CNN.’ - You will thrive kapag okay ang boss. - Madali ang opportunities for exposure since kakaunti lang ang correspondents.

Cons

- Salary not as high compared to other jobs outside of the industry. - Sobrang tagal ng promotions and salary increase. There’s no concrete system on how and when they will promote you or increase your salary. - If you’re after the brand, there’s the uncertainty na baka hindi ma-renew ‘yung franchise with CNN International. - Bosses don’t know how to care that much. They’re trying but they’re unaware how to. - Halos walang work-and-life balance dahil on call ka lagi. - Decisions of middle management are more management-centric than employee-centric. - Opportunities are random dipende on how close you are to the management.
