Pros

Hands on experience with Studio equipment. The internship it self was almost like a survey course. You aren't locked into one position. You get to rotate around and after the first couple of weeks your asked which area you liked best and stay with them.

Cons

What you learn and get out of the internship is based heavily on who you observe. So if the person you observe isn't the greatest employee your missing out.

Pros

Great place to work, lots of internal camaraderie, loyal employees. People here act like you would expect a leading brand to act. Heading in the right direction in terms of growth and innovation, I feel like I have a great future with CNBC.

Cons

It's not a con for me, but NJ location is difficult for some. However, the free shuttle buses from NYC should mitigate that.

Pros

Good salary, great benefits, interesting work. I'm surrounded by a lot of smart and thoughtful people. Most are good at what they do.

Cons

Morale is mixed. Little room for growth. It's discouraging to see dedicated colleagues leave for other companies that will give them more room for growth. And all aspects of the organization have trouble coordinating with each other.
