Pros

Perks and pay slightly alleviate stress and corporate structure

Cons

Onboarding process is strained and ineffective due to entire office scrambling to fulfill and change orders from producers with constant changes. You're treated as a cog in the machine.

Pros

Interesting work with some very bright people

Cons

The pay is not great - different people are given different contracts so beware if you are hired under a third party as a contractor as you'll be paid significantly less than your peers who are actually hired by CNBC. You'll work side by side in the same newsroom, but because of the paperwork, you can be paid and apprised very differently. I found this out too late.
