Pros

You are introduced to management framework, which in itself is a good concept but there are so called custodians create problems.

Cons

HR is a as good as non existent, they have no answer for anything. Company policy is so complex they can use it the way you want. 1. They do not have work from home policy, however you can wfh as much as you want but when you resign they can use this as they want. 2. If you resign they will take it very personally 3. Most of the projects are old and outdated, there is no Major learning or experience unless clients ask for it, very few skills are of latest technology, mostly SAP, Testing, Support roles dominate. 4. Full and final settlement can take ages.

Pros

Great Colleagues who are supportive and helpful, only when they are free though. If they are not, your really are going to struggle! Amazing entry level to advanced internal CGI training website to train for other areas of IT, kind of like Udemy. But because of the daily stress, you really only have your weekends to study/use this unless your a night owl. Only other Positive is working from home, but because of the poor pay and stress of role you might as well work in Sainsburys and earn more!

Cons

Atrocious Training from induction to actual job role. Induction week was waste of time teaching things we did not even actually use! Training it self was bad, even simple basic areas are not explained and then your thrown into the deep end and struggle taking phone calls! Especially when your given like 8 hours just to get used to the systems appalling! 0 equipment was given, most jobs give you support and equipment like monitors etc, this company give nothing and say they didn't plan for the covid-19. Yet they give full remote positions and then cant give equipment does not make sense? You cant do these roles with just 1 small screen laptop, not everyone can afford monitors and keyboards especially when we are in these struggling times. Even the laptops are poor and old. You need the latest processes and rams .

Pros

I work with many intelligent and driven folks. The company cares a lot for what client's wants and needs . We have been allowed to work remotely before Covid and since.

Cons

No clear promotion path. Each business unit has specific percentages of each title. Which means someone as myself that has been with the company for 22 years has no hope of promotion unless I leave the business unit or the company and return. My salary increases have been pitiifall for 10+ years. The 401k match is not great. The model in the last 10 years seem to be to just give the staff additional work without compensation or appreciation. They no longer do anything for the employees such as a holiday appreciate gift. Holiday parties. They also got rid of the "giraffe awards" which was an award that if you won it you were giving a gift card of appreciation.
