      Pros

      Great health insurance, 401K benefits, and wonderful profit sharing program. Management listens to employees and is promotes from within. They have internal training systems that are wonderful.

      Cons

      CGI Federal is the Business Unit I worked for and they place no value on education or experience. The managers are taught to maintain status quo - no innovation. They will listen to you and encourage you to promote your ideas but are quite frank when saying they will not change. Promotions are issued according to friendships and those willing to create a fuss. Being mixed race it didn't affect me but I watched over the course of a year and +50 hires, not a single white person was hired in my division.

      Pros

      CGI gives lot of benefits to employees including bonus at the end of the year and diwali gift( pretty decent ones). There are ample of opportunities to learn things specially for freshers. Regarding policies: CGI is an employee friendly company. It allows employees to work from home, there use to be Member satisfaction programs where feedback is taken from employees regarding the work culture, compensation and benefits. If you are not satisfied with something or need any improvement, this is a best and effective way to communicate directly to your manager. Apart from it, a skip level meeting is being conducted once in a year with higher management. Policies are transparent. Targets are tight and the company's growth is really aggressive.

      Cons

      Even being 5th largest IT service provider, CGI doesn't give salary and compensation structure of CGI is too stoic. It doesn't pay as per market standards. People have to work 9 hours a day and additional half an hour for client commitment.

      Pros

      Lots of work. Never boring. I was always busy sometimes to the tune of 90 hours a week. If you work in Canada, it is not a bad deal.

      Cons

      company values only money. they will work you to death for a profit and dump you when the project is done. No concern for people or their families at all.
