Pros

If you know people within the company you can find interesting client sites to work at. If you are talented and aggressive you can get a good salary.

Cons

Salary increases are never on time - I've seen reviews over a year late. Although you will get "back payed" for late salary increases - you will not get your stock match on your backpayed salary. Is this legal? The management is terrible in general with a few bright lights here and there. This definitely comes from the top.

Pros

CGI Seattle is a great place to work for young hardworking people who want to gain experience quickly. Management rewards hard workers and promotions can be attained quickly with high performance. Benefits are slightly above industry standards.

Cons

CGI is a large company and if you don't work hard to stand out you can become one of the numbers. CGI Seattle is small right now compared to the mothership and is easier to stand out.

Pros

New low-end laptop every 4 years. Some people get a 21inch CRT but with a doctor's note you can get a 17 inch LCD. Also, if you have a doctor's note you can get a comfortable chair.

Cons

Pay - bottom rung. Benefits - bottom 50% of industry. Raises - .5 to 1.5%. Stock is dead money so make sure to sell your stock purchase plan stock as soon as it enters your account. CGI has a dual-class share system so the company can never get bought out with an associated stock price jump. This company is a cash cow so it could have a very large dividend but instead it does not.
