Pros

A very laid-back, fun place to work (at least in my group). Hours are lenient as long as you're being productive and accomplishing things on track. Everybody's really willing to be helpful and get you what you need.

Cons

Can't really think of any off the top of my head. Many, many status meetings.

Pros

Because its such a large group, there are many opportunities to move across projects and geographies to gain exposure to various clients and sectors. At the same time, the federal practice is firmly entrenched in what it does and so for folks who prefer not to move around so much, they can find stability in that area. And put down roots and really grow. If you are proactive, management works with you to find opportunities for growth, as well as opportunities to try out new projects if desired. The flex-time option is great. Management isnt concerned about face-time as long as you get the job done.

Cons

Because of the size of the company, it can take some time to navigate your way and figure out how to move across projects and different groups. Senior folks have more flexibility in choosing what they want to work on and moving across projects.

Pros

You will have a job and work in a team most of the time. You might enjoy some freedom depending on the type of work you have and how well your boss trust you.

Cons

To get a real raise, you better save a catastrophic situation. You get treated well but mostly as a number. For some reason they don't seem to care about loosing good established employee. Sometime they won't even make a counter offer if you tell them you have been offered something better somewhere else. Seems they think a new rookie will replace you in no time even if he know nothing about the situation where your working.
