- Management is overworked and only rated on financial results. Thus their people management skills are wanting. Most also work in a cut-throat environment and are not very trust-worthy. - Internal management rules are extremely variable from one team to the next. - Favoritism is the only career opportunity available. Popular consultants may be sky-rocketted towards management positions in three years (with 10k+ pay increases); whereas most may stay up to 4y as a consultant.
