I worked at ByteDance as a Data Analyst, and overall it was an intense but highly rewarding experience. The company operates at an incredible speed, and data plays a central role in almost every decision. As an analyst, I had the opportunity to work on large-scale datasets and directly support product and business strategy, which made the role both impactful and meaningful.

Cons

However, the fast pace also comes with high pressure. Work-life balance can be difficult at times, and expectations are demanding. Priorities often change quickly, which requires flexibility and resilience. Communication between teams can sometimes be fragmented due to the size and rapid growth of the organization.
