Pros

A good place if you're just beginning to work. The way stores are run are really catch and go between stores, but most every store I've worked at, I've enjoyed working at. Good communications between managers and employees, problems within the crew were generally quickly fixed, and it was more than easy to take time off when you wanted it. Made a lot of good friends there, and overall, it was a pretty good job for a first time job.

Cons

You don't make a lot of substantial hours or money at the job, as typically, for the average crew member, it's minimum wage or maybe a few cents above at the most. It can be a dirty job, no matter how clean you try and make it. The customers are the biggest thing, as it's a very thankless job. Oftentimes, you get told off about things you really have no control over.

Pros

Great for individuals to start learning how to operate and run a restaurant/business. You learn how to succeed by following a proven system. Great opportunity for growth.

Cons

Work throughout holidays except Christmast and Thanksgiving Day. Demanding work schedule. You may be scheduled to work at 5am or late nights. Employee turnover can cause issues at times. The system must be followed diligently. It can be frustrating if you are a creative individual. Vacation Time.

Pros

it's a job, not a career - although for those who end up in management it does offer benefits and sliding pay scales the longer one has worked for the company it offers employment opportunities for under-educated students, and lower working class who might otherwise be unemployed One of the more prominent companies who engage in diverse hiring practices, good equal opportunity for minorities especially.

Cons

Low pay at entry level, not enough promotional opportunities, bottom of the barrel employees (I've worked alongside very sloppy, poor hygiene co-workers)
