      Pros

      Worked at Bloomberg from 1996 - 2000, it was a fast paced environment as well as a great place to learn technology as well as business.

      Cons

      The golden handcuffs of the time were your bonuses.

      Pros

      Encouraging work environment and great colleagues. Bloomberg takes care of it's employees and promotes a healthy culture, both in and out of the workplace

      Cons

      A relatively flat hierarchy with not enough opportunities for vertical advancement. In some cases favor management approval by is more easily gained by being at your desk, instead of actual productivity. Compensation could also be a bit better

      Pros

      Bloomberg is a great company with great people. There's a very open work environment and everyone is very approachable. I would definitely recommend it to recent college grads.

      Cons

      Fairly young crowd in my department so it may not be ideal for people who've been out of school for a while.
