Pros
Working at BNP Paribas in London was enjoyable. The culture, overall, is collaborative and constructive. Sure, I had to work, and work hard, but not for unreasonable expectations nor hours. The work/life balance was excellent. The office at Marylebone is nice. Excellent staff canteen and on-site gym. The location is also good, right near Regent's Park.
Cons
The bureaucracy can make it difficult to get things done. At the same time, dealing with the pace of IT change is challenging. While I was working there, I think every single server I used (and I used a lot) was either virtualised or migrated to a different machine.
