Pros

Good directions from UK. Hope to have more leadership from here.

Cons

Imbecile which belittles his own staff and bullys vendors becomes Singapore CIO at the worst time of the covid 19 pandemic. No more Aviva Asia.

DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGEPOLE

Pros

You might make some friends with your team mates which enables you to support each other mentally when the job makes you miserable and depressed.

Cons

Where to start. NOT an inclusive/disability friendly employer. Take 10+ months to look into accommodation requests only to deny them again and again despite occupational health reports and medical records stating the need for them. Pester you with calls and texts and emails and absence meetings while you’re off sick with mental health issues. Appalling pay below market average. Poor work life balance. Losing staff faster than they can take new people on which says it all really - 20 new starters every 7 weeks and still losing more people. Management will lie to get what they want, and the well-being lead is ironically the cause of most of the problems. DO NOT WORK HERE if you value your mental well-being in any way.

Pros

Work life balance is good. It's situated in a good location. The canteen food is not bad. They have a company gym which although small is a reasonable price.

Cons

The transformation dept is the worst place to work at. If you get offered a role here don't take it unless you want a miserable life and that constant knot in your stomach every time you think of work. The place is run by people who have no clear vision on what they want and then berate you for trying to decipher what it is that they want. And they constantly change their minds on how things should be done. What a shambles. You have managers who don't have any backbone and don't support their staff when they are being coerced into doing things outside of their remit. Some of the management don't even know how to do their own roles therefore cannot clearly communicate what is required from you. Nor do they stand up for you. More likely they step aside and allow you to be in the firing line. The culture is increasingly becoming aggressive. Watch out for the knife that stabs you.
