Pros

Good benefits, pension, holiday, sick pay parental leave.

Cons

Just a number, clique, not allowed to give an opinion, micro managed, favourites, treated like a child. It depends on the department as some managers are professionals others are on a power trip. No mental health support it is just a tick box exercise.

Pros

If you always wanted to be a chicken in a hen house, you are in luck.

Cons

Bullying, sexism, discrimation. It is honestly like being in a school yard. As a full time working straight white male and father doing childcare for 2 young children and managing a disability, it was constantly drummed into me how easy I have things and how privileged I am. At one point I even had to tick a box confirming I understand my privilege.... regardless of the fact there was bullying towards people of the above characteristics. They broke clear rules of contracts and cost my family a great deal of money. Poor management and leadership. I can only speak from my the my experience of the department I was in. I've heard horror stories from other areas, and amazing things about others. Huge company so roll the dice and you might end up in an area with great leadership. Very unprofessional. Feel sorry for customers wanting to talk to someone and end up talking to a person unable and not allowed to deviate from a script or adapt to customers needs.

Pros

Straightforward interview, offer declined due to misleading salary advertised.

Cons

Salary was checked prior to interview and advised of a set salary, after interview when offered role i was told the maximum that could be offered was £5000 less than i was previously told, essentially was just a waste of my time to prepare and interview. Communication between HR and myself was not good, was ignored many times.
