Pros

29 days holidays, pension pot and share plan

Cons

If you are not white you will have a tough time surviving here. You will be forced to resign. the toxicity and mental stress gets so bad that you’d much rather prefer being unemployed. Tyrant Directors and Heads who throw people out when they wish and there’s no repercussions for them. HR doesn’t raise questions or checks on why non white people are leaving so soon after joining. Discrimination is deep rooted- ethnicity discrimination, gender discrimination, disability discrimination- you name it, Aviva has it! I have seen career being ruined here. I have experienced it myself firsthand to know how Aviva has given full authority to few tyrants who destroy employment and livelihoods of people.

Pros

Has lots of employee benefits to make up for the poor pay compared to other employers

Cons

Aviva have an absolute refusal to adopt home working for IT personnel full time, even if your teams based all over the world/country The pay is completely sub-par and this is achieved by giving you the least paying job title in the industry compared to what you actually do Aviva uses a 50/50 hybrid policy and if you deviate, or you are not liked, they use it as a means to bully staff People with legitimate reasons to work from home full time have to have a crippling disability or illness with doctors notes to make it possible Any request for home working is denied on the contract level, it is only possible for Sales people
