People who don't actually understand technology, but who know a lot of empty buzz-phrases, tend to conflagrate here and stack the higher ranks.

Pros

Great opportunities for career growth if you get lucky with good projects. Getting to work with Microsoft .NET technologies is awesome, much preferred to Java ecosystem.

Cons

Benefits package is not that great relatively speaking, you get paid less than at other companies because Avanade functions as essentially a subsidiary of Accenture and Accenture takes a large chunk of the earnings as it feeds the projects to Avanade.
