Pros

- Good starting company, a lot of opportunities to learn and get certifications - All the people i had the pleasure to work with were great

Cons

- Shares alot of projects with Accenture, mostly the management part, and absorves all the bad practices Accenture has. - Depends a lot of Accenture, even the food pension has to be decided by Accenture, so you are basically an employer of Accenture. - Suffers from disorganization in the management layer, and blames it on the lower employees. - Career progress and Evaluation periods are shady, no feedback at all, only if you fight for it. Always felt ignored in this. - I've seen people doing dozens of extra hours of work just to receive a good job in the end ( or not even that )... They rely on the exemption from hours clause in your contract to make you work extra hours and not pay them.

Pros

Coworkers are intelligent and everybody is pleasant

Cons

From a sales perspective, this company lacks a cohesive sales culture entirely. There have been constant reorganizations, leaving everyone uncertain about what’s happening. The newly appointed sales executives seem to lack fundamental communication skills, a clear vision, or the authority to take decisive action. This isn’t a company that fosters success for sales professionals. Avanade is still undergoing a significant and chaotic restructuring process, and the sales leadership’s approach has been to stay silent and disengaged rather than stepping up as true leaders. It’s one of the most dysfunctional environments I’ve encountered, which is unfortunate given the potential for greatness the company once had. Recently, the executive in my division held a sales kickoff meeting, and it was disappointing, to say the least. She read monotonously from a script, peppered with bland HR-approved talking points—this was happening five months into the fiscal year, which tells you everything about the level of preparedness. The leadership team comes across as entirely unfit for their roles. Frankly, nearly everyone I know in sales is actively seeking other opportunities because this isn’t a company anyone feels proud to represent anymore.

Pros

Better than other consulting companies I’ve worked for in the past.

Cons

seem like you’re always under the thumb of Accenture, whom like to think they own you.
