Pros

Long before covid Atos was a remote company for the most part. The culture is very oriented towards working remote and teleconference has been the norm a long time. The company is generally pretty flexible and a good place for a do-it-yourselfer, you will get very little if any career coaching or help in building your career. The good is you can do whatever you want as long as you can bill someone.

Cons

Continued revolving door of CEO for north america. European influence in leadership of company continually seems to not be able to understand a cultural difference in how business works in north american versus europe. For example, in USA we don't really allow a key employ to take "holiday" for 6 weeks and let a customer just deal with it, ....they don't understand that in europe. Ah, but the customer must then wait....that just doesn't work in NA very well.

Pros

Team members were nice, they were understanding if we need to take PTO.

Cons

Only received one raise in 10 years, after Xerox merged with Atos, the benefits went from decent to worthless. I was part of implementing CyberArk, and automated PAM software, which reduced my workload so low that when they merged again, I was let go along with a number of other folks.

Pros

Atos has some good people working for them who are genuinely focused on doing good work and providing clients with solutions that deliver results. The organization for the most part is virtual and provides ample opportunities for learning new skills and certifications. That's were the positive ends. Senior Management in several areas does not know what they are doing and does not understand what

Cons

The organization for the most part is horribly ran, as evident by its share price and the number of good people exiting the organization. It is being turned into another "Indian Tech Services Firm" as evident by it holding its Digital Summit for its senior leadership verses France or another part of Europe or even NA. Managements interaction with their staff is almost non-existent. They have by-annual reviews, I never was reviewed by my manager, no goal setting, nothing. I attempted to move to another role, and barriers were put in front of me. Atos is also the epitome of an "Old Boys Club" in that a good majority of senior management in North America came by way of acquisition as that is how Atos has grown historically. The leaders in place are of a curtain ethnicity that originates from a caste system and they try and manage Atos in the very same manner. A female associate I knew threatened to sue Atos for sexual harassment from a Sr. VP who was of the same ethnicity, instead they moved her and promoted her to shut her up. She was not qualified for the job she had. This same VP rehired a friend who had been fired in to a higher role and subsequently when that role was being eliminated he moved him to another role he created. The organization is rabid similar issues. I personally was lied to by a Sr. VP about possible job opportunities so they could continue to benefit from my work. Just an incredible bad place.
