Management is terrible; put far too much emphasis on things that don't matter but are useless when a real problem arises. Also a hostile working environment, everyone is stressed and miserable all the time. The salary does not reflect properly; some people are rushed off their feet for peanuts while others get paid well for little or no work. Resigned due to abusive HR.

Cheap - hourly wage below competitor wages working as a contractor with Microsoft - No advancement opportunity - Incompetent Management; I can't stress this enough. Half the leads were promoted within one to six months of being hired. This is simply unacceptable. To make matters worse, we had one newbie who went from rookie - lead - to resource manager in six to seven months. Totally unacceptable, no sense of seeing talent and promoting based on merit. And maybe you'd think the guy was just good at what he was doing? Wrong. Many people complained about him not to mention half the other leads were newbies promoted too early.
