Pros

None. They did a poor job of integrating Xerox so there's no reason to think the Syntel acquisition will go any better.

Cons

They don't care...about employees or client's. They only care about the bottom line. How else do you explain not updating hardware & software per client agreements or overcharging clients 2x for services? And then they require employees to take unpaid furlough and do away with bonuses. And they are very proud of their Olympic's affiliation yet they swept a security breach under the rug that shut down some operations during the last Summer Olympics. This is a company that everyone should stay away from

Pros

Good time off, good health benefits, cafe on site

Cons

No desk or phone assigned to many employees, had to use stand up table to make calls. Management was less than honest; mislead on position, mislead on bonus pay, mislead on ability to work from home time. Made disparaging remarks to a minority lady regarding her hair style. Only certain people could eat at their desks; when very busy I was denied the ability to take a lunch break. Management was passive aggressive and provided no help or support against upper management incompetence. If you are a female or minority, DO NOT work at Atos. The culture is toxic from the CEO down.

Pros

I had a great team and a couple of good managers. There are some really talented and hard-working people at Atos.

Cons

Burnout is guaranteed. They say 'don't kill yourself working' and then leave no option but to work until you drop. Understaffed, poorly led, and too interested in pie-in-the-sky razzle-dazzle instead of the nuts-and-bolts of serving their customers. No interest from management in retaining talented workers, even those who are absolutely key and essential. If you want to work for 80+ hours a week for pay that never keeps up with inflation, be my guest.
