      Pros

      If you are into news and want to produce quality content, this is the place for you. There are many offices around the world, and the headquarters is in New York. I think you will enjoy more if you are placed in a big office with support from team members, rather than being in a one or two person office in some central or western states.

      Cons

      AP is definitely not on the verge of news technologies if that's your concern, innovations happen but have to pass levels of management.

      Small company feel with fairly flat hierarchy. Lots of growth opportunity to climb from junior to upper echelons. Heavy cross-departmental interaction.

      Cons

      Various extremes of management personalities aka politics to deal with, which slows down decisions. Difficult media landscape to navigate.
