      - Opportunity to meet and work with high-level managers. - People are passionate about their activities, they have the best interest of their company at heart. - Cross-cultural experiences. - Good work/life balance. - Good share of responsibilities with challenging and interesting assignments. - Performance acknowledged and rewarded.

      Cons

      - Career evolution less dynamic for support functions, as it is an engineering company.

      A company that cares about its employees

      Pros

      - Leader in the specialty chemical industry - Good work atmosphere: courtesy and trust - Lots of attention given to training and safety - Fair amount of days off permitted - Interesting offers by the Company commitee (CE)

      Cons

      - Few possibilities of being hired as a permanent employee - Interns not integrated/taken seriously as proper employees

      Merci pour votre commentaire et les points d'appui que vous avez identifié. Pour ce qui est des "internes", faites-vous référence aux stagiaires ? Si c'est le cas, il ne faut pas hésiter à entrer en relation avec l'antenne RH local qui vous mettra en relation avec le service recrutement au niveau du siège, pour anticiper une éventuelle conversion en CDD ou CDI en fonction des opportunités.

      Pros

      Get a paycheck to keep a roof over your head.

      Cons

      Middle & Senior Management have no accountability. Lower level employees do all the hard work. Good old boys network. Manager will not let you do your work without micromanaging, and are not open to doing this a new, more efficient manner. No room for growth. Everyone is scared to speak their mind or raise concerns because any complaints will turn into an immediate termination. They will come up with an excuse for letting you go even if you did nothing wrong. Middle and Senior Management have no idea how to run a business. They are too busy micromanaging rather than focusing on the big picture. Buyers beware. ARKEMA SUCKS!!!!
