Pros

Pay rate was good, started at 11.50/hr.

Cons

You will get blisters on your feet from walking 20+ miles a day. Your feet hurt after 4 hours of your shift which does not seem to go away (even for weeks after). You are told of mandatory overtime for the next day only hours before your shift is over. For this particular location, you needed to get there an hour before your shift started just to get a parking spot, otherwise you have to walk about a half mile or so to get to the building (in the rain/snow). There is only one exit out, so you will sit in traffic getting out of the parking lot for at least a half hour. There are thieves that steal lunches while no one is in the lunch room. Someone's coat with their car keys were stolen out of the lunchroom and there are security guards on duty only feet away, and no one saw this happen. Hundreds of people are hired per week because tons of people quit each week due to the conditions and the B.S. that goes on there.

Pros

Dogs are allowed to come to the office! Very relaxed atmosphere is encouraged. Creativity and teamwork are two great focuses.

Cons

It's only my third day so I really can't gage any cons yet. However, I have already seen a lot of office politics that I'd rather not be a party to.

Pros

Some of the best and brightest coworkers I've ever worked with. Challenging problems in every department. Management is rarely afraid to invest in bold new ideas.

Cons

Ideas and projects sometimes left partially completed. After-hours support burdens can be very high, especially in some groups. Strict open source contribution policies limit what individuals can contribute outside of work.
