Pros

entry level jobs, flexible schedules

Cons

Amazon cares about numbers and technology. There is constant pressure for UPH (units per hour) That is their primary focus. If you do not make their numbers then you are micro-managed. If you are part time sometimes your hours can be cut to a minimum. This is not the job for you if you care about people and want to work in a sociable environment as Amazon discourages human interactions. Amazon prefers to hire externally for their management jobs. If you have been with Amazon for a while you come to feel that it was meant to be a short term job. Amazon does not protect long time employees and they seem to prefer a workforce with continuous turnover.
