Meaningless work but decent starting job

- decent pay for first job out of college - lots of young people to make friends in new city - nice office in NYC

Cons

- always on. expected to respond to emails until ~11pm - meaningless work - not respected by clients whatsoever. they think of AlphaSights associates as professional LinkedIn searchers

- #1 in the ENS industry - Decent exit opportunities to top MBA/Fortune 500 firms

Cons

- You have NO life, working about 10-12 hours a day, around 14 hours if you're busy. Almost like banking lifestyle with like 80k-100k total pay, not worth it tbh. - It's very top down in the company, meaning that your feedback to leadership is never heard, but you always have to follow exactly what leadership says. And of course, you are VERY replaceable.

Intense culture from leadership compared to other companies, especially when you the join. Working min 8am-6pm everyday
