Nothing is Pros, couldn't find any at all. join if u really cannot find any job for 6 months, use as a platform to look for other jobs.

Cons

All Brands under this company in Sg are heading to close down, the reason being they don't understand the local market at all. Can check what brands are closed and closing for better understanding. Department head(s) didn't match the title at all, especially when compared with market standards. Worst is, don't even listen to comments and suggestion. Skeptical and bossy especially in an animal brand. Lots of empty promises and even did provide at the end, will use it as a condition and performance attack. Do join this company unless cannot find any job elsewhere for 6 months or more. Consider with cautious.

Desired Employer in UAE, but not in Asia

Pros

Learning curve is very steep as it is normal to throw new hires into the deep end - in that sense your growth will be tremendous. Staff discounts are not bad (but not the best either). Colleagues are cordial and polite, culture is laid back and projects are OTOT (at the same time, eats into company productivity).

Cons

Management has serious issues with transparency and does not know how to communicate to employees on the simplest issues. Job insecurity is at an all-time high and employees are leaving by the hoards. Those who has not left have already seen a few rounds of retrenchment, with no clarity on whether their job is safe or still on the line. Things work very weirdly here - HR does the dirty job of announcing retrenchment to affected employees, yet the big bosses in senior management are nowhere to be found. Terrible way of working. This company is definitely already going downhill (it has been even before COVID), with outdated policies and long-winded processes. It may be a desired employer in UAE & MENA, but definitely not in Asia due to distasteful business management at the top. And did I also mention that there is no guaranteed increment OR bonus?

Low skilled Managers they can help you just if you don't have skills. If you have good experience in your field or you have a real talent you will find it hard to work there. Just low skilled and people with no talent or skills will have a chance there.
