Managers micromanage for most of the teams

It ultimately comes down to the team you’re part of. Unfortunately, I ended up in one of the worst teams. The structure at Adobe feels quite hierarchical—you have to think multiple times before reaching out with a question or approaching higher management. The expectation is mostly to work without asking too many questions. That said, I’ve seen other teams at Adobe with excellent managers and a much better culture.
