Pros

Accenture is a good training ground for college and post MBA grads. Depending on which office/practice you join, Accenture can be a great place to gain experiences in different companies and learn about multiple industries in a relatively short time. There is a large network of resources at your fingertip - you can always find someone (though not everyone) who will make the effort to help with technical issues and client connections. There are many opportunities for professional growth, both formal and informal training sessions and workshops. The not-for-profit arm of Accenture (ADP) is a great way for consultants to give back to the less fortunates around the world.

Cons

It is difficult to attain work-life balance if the consulting engagement is out-of-town. With today's restrictions on air travels (airline cutbacks, airport delays, security screening, etc), the commute to another city/state becomes a big negative. The quality of your work experience can depend greatly on the qualifications of the Partner or AP on the engagement. A strong and competent partner can make a world of difference, unfortunate, they are in the minority.
