Pros

the opportunities to work with some prestigious clients is high. in general the reward package is good and the 'lifestyle' it permits is attractive. You have great opportuinities to learn from others and the internal knowledge base allows you to develop sills and knowledge that you didn;t have previously.

Cons

some of the behaviours which were evidenced at partner level is not positive - if you're not in with the 'in' team, you will never seriously progress through the organisation. lots of cliques!! THe hours are long and it became apparent that where you were asked to work was generally not near your home - this meant serious amounts of time away from home, long hours and short weekends.

Pros

Good firm reputation, looks good on your CV, good experience lower down the company, good structured training programme, good benefits package, good starting salary (although not so good when you progress)

Cons

Long hours, low pay for what you are actually doing, bad managers, lack of support for senior managers, impossible to continuing working at Accenture after childbirth, lack of support for pregnant workers
