Cons

Abbott will lay you off in a second. They do massive layoffs at least once a year. They do not care or appreciate their employees.

Flexibility, decent schedule, great benefits

Cons

Expect to feel like a second class citizen. It feels like a dictatorship and your opinion does not matter. Management does not take things into consideration although as an operator, we manufacture the actual product and know the reality of the processes. It almost feels like because you’re their subordinate, you’re stupid. They make it seem like there is room for career growth, but that is unrealistic. I’m surprised this site is still operating.
