Pros

Lots of free time, not many cases. Pay and benefits are good, just make sure you know what everyone else is making to get fair base because they will make a low offer saying that is as much as they can give, which is not true.

Cons

Poor training, no collaboration or positive encouragement among team, management is virtually non existent and does not listen when problems arise and they set the tone for the negative culture by speaking poorly about all of their employees to other employees

Pros

The only pros I can think of is the name "Abbott." When you say you work for Abbott Labs, everyone seems to recognize it because it is spread around the world like a wild fire.

Cons

Awful, Abysmal and horrendous managers especially where I worked. Each of them needs to be sent on a crash course on how to manage people. They were all behaving like small gods. And they didn't hide their favoritism towards some particular set of staff. They were promoting some of their favorite members of staff whilst ignoring others who had better skills and more experienced for no other reason than they were not their types, if you know what I mean. Company is getting too big for its own good. There was a lot of confusion about training , SOPs etc. The managers would be running around like a headless chicken as if the world was coming to an end but at the end of the day they were still making mistakes which they were very smart at putting on the people under them. Some of the things that went there on were indescribable .
