Very international, management attempts to support work-life balance. Good market to be in. Diverse product portfolio, enabmling various career options. You can take part in stock option package. Good reputation (in medical sector at least)

Cons

Very political. In Finance, work-life balance not always maintained. Management not very communicative. Appraisal process followed, but not take seriously. Takes HR ages to get anything done.

Abbott Labs is close to my home which means that my commute is short. They offer Work Life Balance which can be placed in writing. Abbott tuition assistance for those who wish to start, finish or continue their higher education.
