Pros

There are “some” good people

Cons

Too much politics. If you push back leadership will take you out. The old St Jude culture was destroyed by Abbott HR sucks

Pros

The health benefits are pretty good. The lab I work with doesn't have set hours, so I can leave for appointments pretty easily.

Cons

Not having set hours also means we sometimes have to check instruments in the middle of the night or weekend. Our building has nothing and has no money for upgrades, unlike other campuses.

Pros

None, the worst decision I’ve ever made

Cons

From communication to the personalities of your colleagues, you will continuously ask yourself why you decided to work at Abbott Nutrition. Senior management knows there are issues but don’t do anything about it because they’re there for the paycheck and the pension. Competitive products outside of Pedialyte are better than Abbott’s portfolio if you understand ingredients, but the employees aren’t even trained on nutrition. If you’re looking forward to competing against your colleagues and not being a team everyday for more money and no friends, this is the place for you.
