Pros

good benefits, if you lucky you meet great people to work with.

Cons

this job is just endless responsibility for everything. district managers are without experience , (worked with 6 in 5 years) , if you are store manager or manager trainee you dont have private life..they blame you for everything, no support from them..dont care about anything, just give you a feedback what is wrong and you have to fix it.. turnover in this company is huge, cashiers work for 3 people, if they call out, you need to find a coverage..if you dont, it is up to you finish their job...must be on the phone 24/7.. not worth it the money..they want more and more things done without people..

Pros

Decent pay, benefits, overtime, but they will get every penny they pay you out of you, If you don’t have a sense of urgency, please do not apply. Must be a multitasker

Cons

There is never enough people or time to get all the job done, upper management is constantly adding projects to your list of things to do, on top of being VERY busy all the time, your suppose to get everything done, VERY overwhelming, and most days SM’s can never take a much needed break.

Pros

Pay $13.25 starting with no experience needed Most coworkers are pleasant and work as a well as a team

Cons

Long hours regularly scheduled 10-12 hours shifts (3-4 times a week for part-time, 5-6 times a week for full-time) 30 minutes for break no matter how long your shift is People are constantly quitting and calling out making the job way harder Managers always want you to move faster because Aldi purposely short staffs to cut costs and to keep the starting pay high and attractive Don’t fall for the high starting pay it’s not worth being constantly told your going to be rewritten up for not moving fast enough, not just at my store but all managers threaten, being purposely short staffed (2-3 associates and one manager running the store at any given time) and having 5,000+ customers in a day, long hours with short breaks Extremly physical if you have health problems/ mobility issues don’t try your luck here your going end up injurying yourself or be in constant pain after every shift Part- time workers work full-time hours with no benefits (32+ hours a week) parttimers should only be working 24 or less according to the company guidelines Managers inconsiderate with scheduling part- time student workers Did I mention most of your training is figuring things out as you go with little to no help from ANYONE and if you do something wrong they will be sure to let you know Just don’t do it most newcomers only last a week or two This job definitely isn’t for everyone
