Pros

Salary credited on time Transport facility flexible work time.

Cons

Company is pathetic for overall career advancement. Just in September 2018 they fired 28 employee in a day without prior notification in Bangalore COE. Just to fulfill the CEO vision of reducing the operating margin. Company is getting in billions of dollars of cat loss every quarter and purchasing pathetic company for investment purposes from which they cannot even recover a dime. Every 2-3 years there is a change in management CEO and with it comes a session of firing and hiring. You cannot expect any proper career vision because the company does not have any. Forget about any promotion and growth. for years peoples are doing same work mostly data entry and call it a cutting edge solution. Various new department are getting created without any vision and action items and getting closed in the name of cost cutting. If you are doing any complex work which is really hard to solve. It will be evaluated with the different persons data entry work. No attention to details and no research atmosphere. In the name of research it is only buying new tools and software. Just avoid getting a job in AIG Bangalore. There is tremendous pressure on the higher management on making company losses negligible and it is hard to get profitable after lot of cat events and competitors . AIG is a sinking ship but it will take some time to sink completely.

Pros

I worked with some 'great people' many years in Fort Worth Data Center. Great opportunity to learn new technologies, and how to deal with managing a never ending landscape of revolving executive stakeholders. Great benefits, PMO, 401K matching, etc.

Cons

Shifting IT model to outsourcing in many areas. As-A-Service = lose your job - that's the trend into 2020. Work all day, then do APAC calls all night. Work life balance is there, but you really work around the clock. 'Follow the Sun' should be an IT support model, staffed properly. It's not to be taken literally and that is what's going on. We literally followed the sun from one geography.

Pros

Flexible schedule (which is being phased out).

Cons

The company is always going through a reorganization. You never know if you will have a job. The mood is always in a stressed state. IT a nightmare and place is just a mess. Flexible schedule which was a nice perk is being taken away. STI bonus for anyone who is not in management is a joke. Not much good to say.
