      Brand Name and respect in the market you get being an employee of this huge financial services giant. Lower work load most of the times can be good for someone starting a family.

      Cons

      Limited Career Growth Opportunities for junior employees and lack of senior management oversight in ensuring their development. No rewards for hard work.

      Pros

      The benefits at AIG are great. New opportunities for work from have greatly increased ability to better balance work and home life mitigating some of the long hour issues. Senior leadership has turned the fortunes of the company around in the past two years restoring the previous pride found prior to the 2008 financial crisis.

      Cons

      The regular hours are often long and difficult making work week home life nonexistent.
