Good start for young people...do not stay long term

Decent salary, good benefits. OK work-life balance. Flexible work hours. Overall decent company to work for for a while.

Cons

No training for new hires. A lot of outsourcing to Asia. To many managers...some brilliant, some know half of what you know. Telecomuting not for everybody. To much favoritism.

Very stable, good retirement package, training and cross training as well as rotation opportunities are good

As is to be expected with a lot of big companies, there is a lot of layers and bureaucracy

Good visibility with management. Communication between teams/practice groups has greatly improved.

Cons

Miserably antiquated systems make everyday work difficult. Whatever is left of the anti-AIG sentiment born from the 2008 bailout. New offices are cramped.
