Disappointing Lackluster Experience
Pros
As of last year, very generous PTO policy, good 401K match, decent bonuses (on paper), some departments have began to promote flex work arrangements.
Cons
No raises for the past 2 years. Ridiculous performance evaluation process with a forced "performance curve" whereby good performers end up with bad ratings to meet the "curve" and get stripped of bonuses. Poor systems and IT support in general. "Boys club" at the management level making it impossible to get promoted, very policital. Generally, virtually non-existent promotions, even at lower levels, despite consistently high performance ratings. Very limited opportunities for training. Grueling hours in some departments (such as financial reporting). Office space downsizing touted as "workspace optimization" resulting in people being placed in shoebox size cubicles, even at director level. Useless HR unable to take action.
