Pros

I walked in a location that was also a manufacturing unit so the focus was mostly on manufacturing and not on soft development so the products were all made by hand and you get to learn a lot

Cons

Benefits are horrible As an intern, I didn’t get sick pay or any day off or any kind of benefit benefits with insurance or related Most of the employees are focused on manufacturing lines so the focus on software just is in there They mostly hire IT and technology people in Europe and India, so the American side of the company just doesn’t need a lot of software developers so getting into a full-time job here is next to impossible There is no guarantee that you will stay in the internship that you were given

Pros

Best team, good support, gained knowledge, good learning environment. They give time for you to understand the project and everyone is very supportive

Cons

It didnt have any downsides working at ABB. As I worked as an intern, I had only a few months time to learn more. I wasnt offered full time as budget for this year is over.
