This could be a great place to work. But sad to say it's not.

Pros

There are no pros for production workers at the Huntersville NC facility.

Cons

I have never seen so many unhappy production workers. Every production job I've worked they offer there employee's some kind of raise but they don't here. And they don't tell you until after your hired and you don't here it from HR you here from another Co worker. And there's multiple things like this that they don't mention during the hiring process. You would think a company of this magnitude would tell you about things that are most important to an employee. The average turnover ratio for a employee's leaving a job is 2% But in Huntersville NC it's around 30%

Pros

Company provided training. Company car and cellular service depending on position.

Cons

Company car comes with several strings attached. You will need to keep your personal vehicle. Cellular service only applies to cheap phone ABB picks out. You can port your personal number over, but you won't get it back. Travel, travel, and more travel, but not to anywhere exciting or interesting. Pay, while initially might seem decent, you will quickly be asked to work more hours than initially stated while being paid for 40. Complain and get laid off. Company is too large, management too out of touch, in some cases your manager might be on the other side of the continent. Constant competition and exploitation of the different departments hurts the company as a whole. ABB's biggest competitor is ABB.
