Nothing out of the ordinary. The director asked me to troubleshoot something after he drew a diagram on the whiteboard. Without providing any information as to how the system or products actually work, he game me a scenario (likely that his own guys have problems figuring out) and asked me to find the likely reasons why it was failing.
How do you find the IP address for a computer?
Technical questions - Expect to get quizzed on a wide variety of Windows, Mac, Linux , general networking, SQL, and AD/platform administration questions. Too many to list here, but it's mostly stuff you will know if you have been in IT for 3-5 years in a similar engineering role.
