Home Task: As you know, Remitly is building an international financial services platform for migrants worldwide. Our platform allows migrants to send money back home to their loved ones (i.e. remittance), pay bills, issue debit cards, and more. Remitly recently decided to expand its remittance services under the Rewire brand to Singapore, which will allow Singaporeans who reside in Israel to download the app, register and use Remitly’s app to send money to their loved ones in Singapore. The main goal of this effort is to grow Remitly’s customer base in Israel and generate revenue by adding a new market – Singapore. The desired time to launch is 3 months from now.
