Dear Qapita Team, ( I got option “ Interview Difficulty in glassdoor” but it’s not relevant for interview process) I’m writing to express my disappointment with the recent interview process for the Tech Lead position. As a candidate with 15 years of experience, I found it frustrating that the interview focused heavily on basic technical problems like array shuffling and input/output scenarios, which seemed completely misaligned with the expectations for a senior role. Given my background in team leadership and architecture, I expected the interview to assess my ability to lead and manage teams, make technical decisions, and guide development processes. Instead, the panel, which had just a few years of experience, seemed more focused on elementary coding problems, leaving me questioning the relevance of the process for a lead position at QAPITA. When I raised this concern, HR and Consultants, they confirmed that anyone can interview any candidates regardless of their experience, which I find concerning for a company like QAPITA. It’s disappointing that such an important role was assessed through a process that felt more appropriate for junior candidates and also it’s appreciated from QAPITA. I hope QAPITA will reconsider its interview process/approach for senior positions to ensure it aligns with the leadership and technical skills that such roles require.
